John Wells is the recording engineer and electronics technician for the audio recording studio in the Center of Applied Technology. He maintains the studio and provides techncial support for classes taught in the studio as a part of the Commercial and Electronic Music Program.

An avid guitarist and singer, he brings his skills as a musician to studio projects. His musical group "Colla" has a CD released with Interscope Records, and he continues creative activies in composition and recording.

Previously, John worked as a technical consultant with Sony Electronics and other major audio/video firms in the country. He comes to us from California where he received his training in recording studio engineering.
